ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the Conversational Agent Vaccine Promotion RCT, is designed to explore how an interactive app can help encourage people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza. The study will look at how satisfied users are with the app and whether certain features, like reminders and culturally tailored conversations, can improve vaccination rates. Participants will be followed for 12 months to see if those who engage more with the app and receive messages that resonate with their cultural beliefs are more likely to get vaccinated.
To join the study, you must be at least 18 years old, speak English fluently, have a recent smartphone, and not currently meet the vaccination guidelines for COVID-19 or influenza. During the trial, participants will use the app, and researchers will check in at 6 and 12 months to see how things are going. Additionally, the app will be available to members of participating churches to help spread its use. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could help improve vaccination efforts in the community.
