ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a web-based support program designed to help caregivers who take care of family members with heart failure. Caregivers often feel they lack support and want to learn more about how to help their loved ones. The goal of the study is to see if this online program can make caregivers feel more prepared and improve their experiences, such as how they manage health issues and the overall impact of caregiving on their lives.
To participate in this trial, caregivers need to be close relatives of a patient diagnosed with heart failure. Participants will be randomly assigned to either receive the support program or be placed on a waiting list for standard care. Over the course of six months, researchers will gather information through questionnaires to measure the effects of the program. This study is important because it involves caregivers in its design, aiming to provide them with better, more accessible support through the 1177 care guide system.
