ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new imaging technique called endobronchial ultrasound strain elastography (EBUS-SE) to help doctors understand sarcoidosis, a condition that causes inflammation in various organs, especially the lungs. The researchers want to see if this method can identify "stiff" lymph nodes that may be more likely to produce inadequate samples during testing. By examining these stiff lymph nodes, the hope is to better understand the condition and improve the chances of getting useful tissue samples.
To participate in this trial, you must be at least 18 years old and have a suspicion of sarcoidosis based on medical imaging. Some key factors that would make you ineligible include severe bleeding disorders, recent heart issues, or being pregnant. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo some imaging tests to assess your lymph nodes, and the results could help improve diagnosis and treatment for sarcoidosis in the future. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders between the ages of 18 and 74.
