ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different techniques for treating hemorrhoids, a common condition that can cause pain, bleeding, and discomfort. The trial compares the effectiveness and safety of a newer method called radiofrequency treatment (Rafaelo technique) to a traditional method called HAL-RAR (a type of surgical procedure). The aim is to see which method works better and helps patients recover more quickly, with less pain and time off from work.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be between 18 and 75 years old and have hemorrhoids that have not responded to other treatments. They should not have certain health conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease or anal fistulas. Participants can expect a minimally invasive procedure, which means they may experience less pain and a quicker return to their daily activities. This study is particularly important because it aims to gather information about the new radiofrequency technique, which has not been evaluated in France yet, helping to improve treatment options for people suffering from hemorrhoids.
