People who might join this study are adults aged 65 to 74 who have certain infections that cannot be treated with pills alone and need antibiotics through a vein (IV). To be eligible, patients must be stable enough to manage their treatment at home, able to learn how to use the medical equipment (like pumps for the antibiotics), and willing to communicate with healthcare staff using a mobile phone. Their home also needs to be suitable for treatment, with good hygiene and proper storage for medicines. Participants will receive training and support, but will mainly manage their treatment at home, with healthcare professionals available through telemedicine for any questions or concerns. This approach aims to make treatment more convenient and comfortable while keeping it safe and effective.

• • Competent to give consent
• • The infection can not be treated with oral antibiotics in monotherapy
• • Selected IV antibiotics must be suitable for administration via selected pumps
• • The patient's condition is stable and does not require frequent observation by health care professionals
• • The patient is motivated and willing to participate in intravenous treatment in home hospitals
• • Must, after training, demonstrate mastery of practical procedures related to pump handling and any other procedures described in the patient's treatment plan
• • The home must be suitable for intravenous antibiotic treatment; access to refrigerators, hygienic conditions, social conditions
• • The patient must have a mobile phone and be able to handle the system for fast and secure communication with the Regional Response Center (RRO)
