ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether adding a guided self-help program called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can improve the effectiveness of Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) treatment for various mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. The goal is to see if this additional support helps patients feel better and function better in their daily lives compared to the standard PCBH treatment, which includes brief assessments and interventions. The study will also look at how these treatments affect both patients and the healthcare system overall.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and seeking care at a Primary Care Center (PCC) for behavioral health issues. It's important that you can communicate in Swedish well enough to complete questionnaires and participate in the self-help CBT sessions. However, if you are in immediate crisis, such as having thoughts of hurting yourself or experiencing severe mental health symptoms like psychosis, you won't be eligible to join. Participants in the trial can expect to receive personalized support aimed at improving their mental health with the possibility of using self-help techniques alongside traditional care.
