ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called the LENA Program Evaluation, is looking at how a special program called the LENA Start Program can help improve young children's readiness for school by focusing on their language development. Researchers want to understand how parents' beliefs and expectations about language can impact their child's ability to communicate. The study will take place in the Alief Independent School District in Houston, Texas, and aims to create a model that can be used by other schools in the future.

To participate in this study, parents must be at least 18 years old and have a child between 16 and 30 months old who speaks either English or Spanish and lives in the Alief area. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and both mothers and their children will be involved in activities designed to support language learning. If you meet these criteria, you could help researchers learn more about how to support children's language development in their early years.
