ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new type of surgery called 3D laparoscopic adrenalectomy, which is used to remove tumors from the adrenal glands. Traditional laparoscopic surgery uses 2D images, which can make it hard for surgeons to see depth and orientation during the procedure. The researchers believe that using a 3D system may help improve surgical outcomes, making the surgery safer and more effective.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult aged 18 or older who has been diagnosed with adrenal tumors, whether they are benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). The surgery will be performed if you are undergoing a unilateral (one-sided) adrenalectomy, and you will need to have a follow-up for at least 30 days after the surgery. If you have had emergency surgery, open surgery, or other specific procedures, you may not be eligible. Participants can expect to be part of an important study that could improve how adrenal tumors are treated in the future.
