ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different rehabilitation methods can help people recover from hip fractures while they are at home. Since some patients may have difficulty going to a rehabilitation center, this study aims to provide effective care in their own living environment. Participants will be divided into two groups, each using a different approach to rehab, and the goal is to see which method works best for improving their recovery.
To join the trial, you need to have had a hip fracture and live in Malmö, Sweden. It’s important that you cannot travel to a rehabilitation facility and can either read Swedish or understand information with the help of an interpreter. However, if you have serious neurological conditions that affect your balance or walking, or have been diagnosed with significant cognitive issues, you won’t be eligible to participate. If you decide to join, you can expect to receive personalized rehabilitation support in your home, designed to help you regain strength and mobility after your injury.
