ClinConnect Summary
The International Weight Control Registry (IWCR) is a global study designed to learn more about the challenges and successes people face when trying to manage their weight. The goal is to gather information from individuals about their experiences with weight loss, maintaining weight loss, and even weight gain. By understanding these experiences, the study aims to find ways to reduce obesity and improve weight management strategies for everyone.
Anyone aged 18 or older can participate in this study, whether you are considering weight loss, actively trying to lose weight, or have tried and succeeded or failed in the past. Participants will be asked to complete online surveys sharing their weight management experiences. This is an opportunity to contribute to important research that could help many people in the future, and your insights could make a real difference in understanding how to better support weight management efforts.
