ClinConnect Summary

The Targeted Health Dialogues in Primary Care trial is a program in Skåne, Sweden, aimed at improving health by talking with specially trained staff about health behaviors and risk factors for serious diseases like heart disease and cancer. The program is currently enrolling people who are 40 years old, and soon it will include those who are 50 and 60 years old. Participants will provide information through questionnaires and blood samples, which will help researchers understand how various factors, like lifestyle and family history, affect health risks. They will also look at how effective the program is in preventing diseases.

To be eligible for the trial, you need to be a man or woman aged 40, 50, 60, or 70 and be registered at a healthcare center in Skåne county. If you can understand the study information and give your consent, you can participate. As a participant, you can expect to take part in health discussions, provide health information, and contribute to important research that may lead to better, more personalized healthcare in the future.
