ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the use of specific biological markers, known as biomarkers, to help diagnose different types of dementia more accurately and at an earlier stage. Researchers believe that the causes of dementia can vary depending on a person's age, so they are looking at different age groups to find out which biomarkers are most effective for diagnosing conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, and others. The study will also involve various tests, including brain imaging and blood samples, to identify these markers and confirm their findings through follow-up examinations after the participants have passed away.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must have a diagnosis of neurodegenerative dementia according to established guidelines and need to have a reliable caregiver who can assist them throughout the study. Unfortunately, individuals who do not have dementia, have serious health issues, or cannot provide informed consent will not be included. Participants can expect regular follow-ups and various assessments to help researchers better understand dementia and improve future diagnoses. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders, aiming to make significant advancements in dementia research.
