ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning on the brain. Researchers want to understand what happens to patients who suffer from this type of poisoning and identify any factors that might increase the risk of lasting neurological problems, which are issues that affect the brain and nervous system.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be over 16 years old and must seek medical help within 12 hours after being exposed to carbon monoxide. However, pregnant women, those who have received oxygen treatment before arriving at the hospital, and individuals with certain pre-existing medical conditions will not be eligible. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, it aims to provide important insights into how carbon monoxide poisoning can affect people and help improve future care for those affected.
