ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how financial support can help cancer patients, especially those living in rural areas, manage the costs associated with their treatment. The study aims to improve the lives of patients by implementing a financial navigation program in both rural and non-rural oncology practices in North Carolina. By doing this, researchers hope to see if this support can reduce the financial stress, also known as financial toxicity, that many patients face, and enhance their overall quality of life.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with any type of cancer within the last five years or be living with advanced cancer. You also need to show a high level of financial stress based on a specific survey. If you join the study, you can expect to receive guidance and resources to help you manage your cancer-related expenses and improve your well-being. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's important to note that only English-speaking patients who meet the criteria can take part.
