ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to evaluate scars on the hands of patients who have suffered traumatic injuries. Researchers want to create a reliable scoring system using ultrasound, a technology that uses sound waves to create images of the body. This system will help doctors better understand how scars affect hand function and track any changes over time as patients undergo rehabilitation.
To participate in the study, you need to be over 20 years old and have a hand injury that occurred more than 8 weeks ago but less than a year ago. You should be able to move your hand and follow instructions during the study. Participants will have their scars evaluated multiple times over a month while they receive routine care, and these results will be compared to how well they can use their hands. This research aims to improve the way we assess and treat hand injuries, ultimately helping patients recover better.
