ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying different treatments for hip microinstability, a condition that causes hip pain and can make it difficult for young and active people to move comfortably. The trial is looking at both non-surgical options, like physical therapy to help strengthen the hip, and a surgical procedure called arthroscopic plication, which involves tightening the hip joint capsule if non-surgical methods don't work. The goal is to see how well these treatments improve hip function and what side effects, if any, they might cause.

To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have hip microinstability. However, people with certain conditions, like severe hip arthritis or previous hip surgeries, won't be eligible. If you decide to join the trial, you can expect to receive either the non-surgical therapy or the surgical treatment, and your progress will be monitored to assess how well the treatment is working. This trial is currently looking for participants, and both men and women are welcome to take part.
