ClinConnect Summary
The "ROSE in Sunset Park" study is looking into how a program called Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials for mothers of newborns (ROSE) can help pregnant women. The main goal is to see if this program can reduce feelings of sadness after having a baby, lower stress levels, and provide more social support for mothers. This study is currently active but not recruiting new participants.
To be eligible for this study, women must be at least 18 years old, currently pregnant, and in their second trimester. They need to receive their prenatal care at the Sunset Park Family Health Center for Women's Health and Pediatrics and should be able to understand English or Spanish. Participants will be asked to share their experiences and feelings, as researchers aim to understand how the ROSE program impacts their emotional well-being. If you think you might qualify and are interested in helping improve support for new mothers, this could be a valuable opportunity to contribute to important research.
