ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how blood flows throughout the entire body using a special imaging technique called total-body 13N-NH3 PET/CT. The researchers want to understand how decreased heart function affects blood flow to other organs. This is important because when the heart doesn't pump effectively, it can impact overall health.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 60 and 90 years old and have a specific level of heart function that is not too low. The trial is looking for both healthy volunteers and patients with some heart issues. If you join, you will undergo imaging tests that may last about an hour, where you'll lie still in a scanner. Before participating, you will need to sign a consent form to ensure you understand what the study involves. It's essential to note that individuals with certain health conditions, like severe liver or kidney problems, or those under 60, won't be eligible for this trial.
