ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain physical therapy techniques, specifically spinal mobilization and diaphragmatic breathing exercises, can help improve breathing in people with Parkinson's disease. Many patients with Parkinson's experience breathing difficulties due to various reasons, and the researchers believe that these therapies might help by improving how well the diaphragm—the muscle that helps us breathe—works.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and willing to join the study. They should also have a certain level of breathing difficulty, as measured by a specific scoring system. However, people with certain health conditions, like recent surgery or respiratory infections, won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to take part in activities aimed at enhancing your breathing function, which may lead to better overall health and comfort. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders aged 18 to 85.
