ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain biological markers, known as biomarkers, can help predict the risk of chronic heart failure in patients who have type 2 diabetes. Chronic heart failure is a condition where the heart doesn't pump blood as well as it should, and understanding these biomarkers could help doctors identify patients at higher risk early on. The study is currently recruiting participants who are over 50 years old and have type 2 diabetes, but those who have a history of heart failure or heart disease are not eligible to join.
If you or a loved one qualifies, participating in this trial could involve regular check-ups and tests to monitor your health and gather important data. This research aims to improve future care for patients with type 2 diabetes by finding better ways to predict and manage the risk of heart problems. It's a chance to contribute to important medical knowledge that could benefit many others in the future.
