ClinConnect Summary
The Brazilian Diabetes Study is a research project that aims to learn more about people with type 2 diabetes and how it may affect their heart health. This study is currently looking for participants who are between 40 and 70 years old and have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Unfortunately, individuals who do not have a confirmed diabetes diagnosis or have an intellectual disability cannot join the study.
If you participate in this study, you will be part of a group that helps researchers understand the long-term effects of diabetes on heart disease and other related health issues. Being part of this study may involve regular check-ins and assessments over time, but it also gives you a chance to contribute to important findings that could help improve care for others with diabetes in the future. Your involvement could make a difference!
