ClinConnect Summary
The Psoriasis Echo Study is a clinical trial that looks at the relationship between heart health and psoriasis, a skin condition that causes red, itchy patches. Researchers want to find out if certain heart tests and markers can help predict heart disease in people with psoriasis. They will study around 1,000 participants to see if there are any connections between the two.
If you are 18 years or older and have been diagnosed with psoriasis, you may be eligible to join the study. Participants will undergo heart tests and provide information about their health. It’s important to note that those who cannot understand or agree to participate in the study will not be included. This research could lead to better understanding and management of heart health in individuals with psoriasis, so participating could help improve future care for others.
