ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods for screening cervical cancer: the Hologic Genius Digital Diagnostics System and the traditional Liquid-based Cytology (LBC) method, which uses manual microscopy. The goal is to see how well the new digital system performs compared to the standard method in examining samples collected from women during routine cervical cancer screenings in Germany.
To participate in this study, women who have had LBC ThinPrep® samples collected by their gynecologists may be eligible. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and those who join can expect their samples to be evaluated using both the digital and traditional methods. This research aims to ensure high-quality laboratory examinations and may help improve cervical cancer screening practices in the future.
