ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying parathyroid disorders, which can affect how the body regulates calcium and phosphate. The researchers want to understand what causes these disorders and how they change over time, especially in people with certain syndromes like multiple endocrine neoplasia. The study is open to individuals aged 6 months and older who have these conditions, are at risk of developing them, or are related to someone who does.
Participants can expect to have their medical history reviewed and may visit doctors for tests and treatments, either in person or through online appointments. They will complete questionnaires about their health and may provide samples like saliva, blood, or urine. Adults might also have a small skin sample taken. This study is ongoing as long as participants are under medical care, and it aims to gather valuable information that could help better understand and treat parathyroid disorders.
