ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at two different contrast agents used during MRI scans of the liver to see which one is better at detecting liver metastases, or cancer that has spread to the liver, specifically from colorectal cancer. The study will compare a new, shorter MRI process using gadobenate dimeglumine with the standard method that uses gadoxetate disodium. If the new method works as well as the standard one, it could save time, money, and effort for patients.

To participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 80 years old, have colorectal cancer, and not have had any previous treatment, including surgery. You should also have had imaging done that suggests liver metastases. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it is important to note that some people, such as those under 18 or over 80, or those with certain medical conditions, may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo an MRI with one of the contrast agents, and the goal is to see how well each one can identify cancer in the liver.
