ClinConnect Summary
The Multicenter Cardiology Monitoring Platform Registry (mCMP-registry) is a study aimed at improving the early diagnosis and understanding of heart conditions such as heart failure, abnormal heart rhythms, and coronary artery disease. By collecting routine health information and optional biological samples from patients, the registry seeks to identify different types of heart diseases and their underlying causes. This research will help doctors better assess patients' risks and develop more effective treatments for these serious conditions.
To participate in this study, eligible individuals must be at least 16 years old and have been referred to a cardiology or genetic department due to symptoms related to heart failure, or for a heart health check-up. Participants can expect to provide some health information and, if they choose, donate biological samples for research. It’s important to note that people who are not comfortable participating or cannot give consent for any reason, such as language barriers or severe intellectual disabilities, will be excluded from the study. The registry is currently recruiting participants of all genders.
