ClinConnect Summary
The CILCA Arch Registry is an international study that aims to better understand the risks and outcomes for patients who have a specific type of aortic arch called CILCA arch, especially when they undergo treatments for aortic diseases like dissection or aneurysm. The registry will collect important medical information and images from around 500 patients who are treated either through surgery or a less invasive procedure called endovascular repair. This research will help identify why some patients may face complications after their procedures and how to improve their care.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and have been treated for an aortic condition involving the CILCA arch. Unfortunately, individuals with certain health issues, such as severe kidney problems or those who are pregnant, cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect follow-up appointments at 30 days, one year, and then annually after your treatment to monitor your health and recovery. This study is currently recruiting participants, and everyone, regardless of gender, is welcome to take part.
