ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain proteins in the body, known as LTBP4 and other related markers, might affect kidney health, heart health, and overall survival in patients who have a condition called acute coronary syndrome (ACS). ACS is a serious heart condition that occurs when blood flow to the heart is suddenly reduced or blocked. The researchers want to see if these proteins can help predict how well patients will do after experiencing ACS, especially if they also have kidney problems.
To participate in this trial, individuals need to be diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome. However, those who are pregnant, in severe heart failure (called cardiogenic shock), or have end-stage kidney disease cannot join. Participants will be monitored and may undergo various tests to help the researchers gather important information about their health over time. This study is currently looking for volunteers of all genders, aged between 73 and 292 years. It’s a chance to contribute to important research that could improve treatment for future patients with similar conditions.
