ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different body positions during radiation treatment affect skin side effects in women with vulvar cancer. Specifically, the researchers want to see if lying with straight legs or in a "frog-leg" position makes a difference in skin reactions, as well as how these positions might impact the overall treatment time and whether any adjustments to the treatment plan are needed.
To participate in this trial, women aged 18 and older with confirmed vulvar cancer (stages I to IVA) who are in good health (ECOG score of 0-1) may be eligible. It's important to note that women who are pregnant or whose cancer treatment does not include certain lymph nodes will not be able to join. Participants can expect to receive radiation therapy using a specific technique called Volumetric Arc Therapy (VMAT) and will be closely monitored for any skin reactions and treatment progress throughout the study.
