ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how telehealth, or remote care using video technology, can help people with Lewy Body Dementia (LBD). LBD is a type of dementia that affects thinking, movement, and behavior. The goal of the study is to see if providing care through video appointments can make it easier for patients, especially those living in rural areas or who have trouble traveling, to get the help they need from specialists.
To participate in this trial, individuals must have a diagnosis of LBD from a qualified doctor and have mild to moderate dementia. They should also have access to the internet and a device that can use Zoom for video calls. It’s important that a family caregiver who lives with them is willing to join in the sessions as well. The trial is currently looking for participants aged 65 and older. If you or someone you know meets these criteria, this could be a great opportunity to receive care in a more convenient way.
