ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to explore new ways to improve the detection and diagnosis of skin cancer using teledermoscopy and artificial intelligence (AI). The study has two parts: the first part looks at how teledermoscopy—the use of special cameras to examine skin lesions remotely—affects how doctors refer patients for skin checks and how accurately they can diagnose skin cancer. The second part will assess how AI can help doctors make better diagnoses by comparing the results of those who use AI tools with those who do not.
To participate in this trial, individuals must have a skin lesion that has been evaluated by a doctor, and the doctor must decide to refer them for teledermoscopy. Participants should be 15 years or older. During the study, patients can expect to have their skin lesions assessed through teledermoscopy, and their information will be collected in various ways, including questionnaires and patient records. This research aims to enhance skin cancer diagnosis and could have a significant impact on future patient care.
