ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different ways to use two important medical treatments together: ECMO (which helps support heart and lung function) and CRRT (a type of dialysis for people with kidney problems). The goal is to find out how long the filters used in CRRT last when combined with ECMO and to see if there are any complications from using these treatments together.
To take part in this trial, participants need to be adults over 18 years old who are experiencing serious kidney issues, such as not producing enough urine or having dangerous levels of potassium in their blood. Unfortunately, people who are pregnant, those with certain long-term kidney diseases, or specific kidney conditions like inflammation or obstruction won't be eligible. If you join the study, you'll be monitored closely, and the medical team will provide you with care while they gather important information about these treatments. This research aims to improve how we manage kidney failure in critically ill patients.
