ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on collecting important information about patients with neuromuscular disorders, such as neuropathy and muscle disorders. The goal is to gather data from individuals who are not currently part of other research studies at the NIH. By doing this, researchers hope to learn more about these conditions and improve future treatments.
To be eligible for this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have a possible neuromuscular disorder. During your visit to the NIH, you will undergo a physical exam and various tests to evaluate how your nerves and muscles are functioning. These tests may include nerve conduction studies, EMG (which measures electrical activity in your muscles), and other assessments like ultrasounds and heart rate checks. The visits will last less than four hours, and you may be contacted for follow-up visits later. Your information will be kept confidential and used for future research.
