ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to explore how a special approach, called academic detailing and audit and feedback, can influence the types of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) that are used in Veterans. The goal is to see if this intervention can help improve patient safety by guiding doctors on which models to choose when implanting these important devices.
To participate in the study, you would need to be a cardiac doctor at a Department of Veterans Affairs facility who implants these devices. Unfortunately, if you're not willing to take part, you won't be eligible. As the study is not yet recruiting participants, there's no need to worry about immediate involvement, but it’s worth noting that this research aims to enhance the safety and effectiveness of treatment for Veterans in the future.
