ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new technology called the "smart cloth care system," which aims to help family members who are caring for loved ones with dementia at home. Over the next three years, researchers will first check if this smart cloth can be used easily, and in the final year, they will test how well it works for both caregivers and the individuals with dementia. The goal is to see if this system can make caregiving easier and improve the quality of life for everyone involved.
To participate in this study, older adults aged 60 and above who have been diagnosed with dementia or have recently had hip surgery and can walk independently or with help are eligible. Family caregivers who are at least 20 years old and responsible for providing care are also welcome to join. Participants can expect to be part of a supportive research environment where their experiences and feedback will help shape this innovative care system. It's important to know that people who are severely ill or living in care facilities cannot participate in this study.
