ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how much weight patients can safely put on their knee after surgery to repair a ligament in the knee, known as the fibular collateral ligament (FCL). The goal is to see whether starting to put full weight on the knee right after surgery is safe, compared to putting only a little weight on it for the first six weeks. This research is important for helping patients recover from knee injuries and understanding the best way to support their healing.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must be between 14 and 60 years old and have had surgery to repair the FCL, either alone or along with another ligament called the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Both men and women can join if they are able to follow the study guidelines and understand the consent form. Participants will be monitored during their recovery, and they’ll follow specific instructions about how much weight to put on their knee during the first six weeks after surgery. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and it aims to provide valuable insights into the best practices for rehabilitation after knee surgery.
