ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how safely patients can start putting weight on their knee after surgery for knee ligament injuries. Specifically, it looks at patients who have had surgery for either a single knee ligament, like the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) or medial collateral ligament (MCL), or multiple ligaments at once. The goal is to find out if beginning partial weightbearing—meaning putting some weight on the knee but not fully using it—is safe to start within the first six weeks after surgery.
To join the trial, participants need to be between 14 and 60 years old and have had one of the specified knee ligament surgeries. The study is open to both males and females who can understand and agree to the rules of the trial. Participants can expect regular check-ins related to their recovery and the chance to contribute to important research that may help others in the future. It's important to know that certain conditions, like being under 14 or over 60 years old, being pregnant, or having had previous knee surgeries, might prevent someone from participating in this study.
