ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well patients heal after getting dental implants right after having a tooth removed. Specifically, it will compare outcomes between patients who receive a special collagen matrix to help support the healing process and those who do not. The goal is to see if this added support makes a difference in the health of the surrounding soft tissue around the implant.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to have a single tooth that is failing and located in the front part of the mouth, with healthy neighboring teeth. However, certain individuals will not qualify, including those who smoke heavily, have specific health conditions that could slow healing, or have severe gum disease. Participants can expect to be part of a study that aims to improve dental implant procedures, with careful monitoring of their healing progress. This trial is currently recruiting participants aged 65 to 74, and it is open to everyone regardless of gender.
