ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how changes in the tiny blood vessels in the eye might be related to heart health issues. Researchers will use a special imaging technique called SS-OCTA to take detailed pictures of the retinal blood vessels and see if they can connect these images to the severity of cardiovascular disease, which is measured through another test called carotid duplex ultrasonography.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 80 years old and have no previous eye diseases. It’s also important that you can understand the study and provide consent to take part. Participants can expect to undergo eye examinations and have their heart health assessed through standard procedures. This trial is currently recruiting volunteers, and anyone interested should discuss it with their doctor to see if they qualify.
