ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on translating and adapting a questionnaire called the Groningen Frailty Indicator (GFI) for Greek patients who have experienced a hip fracture. The GFI is designed to assess frailty, which is a condition that can make people more vulnerable to health issues, especially among older adults. By adapting this tool for the Greek population, the researchers hope to better understand and address the needs of patients recovering from hip fractures.
To participate in this study, you must be at least 65 years old, have suffered a hip fracture that requires surgery, and be able to communicate effectively. You should also not live in a care facility and need to agree to take part in the study. If you decide to join, you will fill out the GFI questionnaire, which will help healthcare providers learn more about your health and support your recovery. This research is currently looking for participants, and your involvement could help improve care for future patients in similar situations.
