ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how neuropathic pain, which is a type of pain caused by nerve damage, affects people with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Researchers want to better understand the specific characteristics of spinal pain in AS patients. If you're between the ages of 18 and 75 and have been diagnosed with AS, you might be eligible to participate. To qualify, you should have a certain level of spinal pain, which is measured using a simple scale.
If you decide to join the study, you'll help researchers gather important information about pain in AS. Participants will be part of a cross-sectional study, meaning they will be assessed at one point in time. It’s important to know that certain health conditions, like diabetes or recent diagnoses of fibromyalgia, may prevent you from participating. This trial is currently recruiting, so it’s a chance to contribute to understanding and potentially improving care for people with ankylosing spondylitis.
