ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how musculoskeletal injuries, which are injuries affecting muscles and bones, impact the quality of life and life satisfaction of young gymnasts. The researchers want to understand what these gymnasts go through during their recovery process, as injuries can be tough not just physically but also emotionally and socially.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be male or female gymnasts aged 8 to 18 years who are involved in specific gymnastics programs and are currently dealing with a musculoskeletal injury. Unfortunately, gymnasts who only participate in certain recreational programs, those who have retired, or older gymnasts in college are not able to join. If selected, participants can expect to share their experiences and feelings about their injuries and recovery, helping researchers learn more about supporting young athletes during their healing journey.
