ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving the health of people living with HIV who also have conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes. The study has three main goals: first, to find out what social factors affect their health and identify what helps or hinders them from reaching their treatment goals; second, to evaluate how much knowledge and confidence these individuals have in managing their health conditions; and third, to create a support and education program that addresses the challenges they face, using input from various community members.
To join the study, participants need to be at least 35 years old and living with HIV, with at least one of the mentioned health conditions. The trial is open to all genders, and participants will be recruited from local clinics and community organizations. Those who take part can expect to share their experiences and help develop resources that could improve health management for themselves and others in similar situations. It’s important to note that individuals who don’t speak English or are blind will not be eligible to participate.
