ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different treatments for wrist fractures in children affect their recovery. Specifically, it's comparing two approaches: one group of children will undergo a procedure to gently move their broken bone back into place while they are sedated, and another group will not have this procedure. The trial aims to find out which method leads to better healing and functional outcomes for kids with a specific type of wrist fracture.
To be eligible for the study, children must be between 4 and 10 years old, have a certain type of wrist fracture that has occurred within the last 10 days, and have a parent or guardian who can provide consent. Participants will need to follow specific care instructions during the study. It's important to know that children with certain medical conditions or more complicated fractures won't be included in this study. This research is currently recruiting participants, so if you think your child might be a good fit, you could consider reaching out for more information.
