ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new online program designed to help pregnant individuals who may be at risk of substance use. The study will run for four weeks and involves weekly virtual group meetings where participants can connect with others and learn mindfulness techniques. Mindfulness is about being aware of your thoughts and feelings without judgment, and in this program, participants will focus on self-compassion, self-care, and grounding techniques. The goal is to see if this type of support can be helpful and accepted by those participating.
To take part in this study, you need to be currently pregnant, have a single baby on the way, speak English fluently, and have a history of significant substance use or be in treatment for a substance use disorder. Unfortunately, if you cannot provide consent, you wouldn’t be eligible to join. If you qualify, you can expect to engage in a supportive environment where you can share experiences and learn helpful strategies for your well-being during this important time.
