ClinConnect Summary

The Minnesota RETAIN Impact Evaluation is a study looking to help people who have been injured or are ill and unable to work. This trial aims to see how expanding the RETAIN program—an initiative designed to support employees in staying at or returning to work—can prevent future workplace disabilities and improve job retention. The study is currently recruiting participants who are between 18 and 74 years old, live in Minnesota, and have been unable to work for no more than six months. It specifically targets individuals with a work-related or personal injury or illness that affects their ability to work, or those who have had a surgery that impacts their job.

If you choose to participate, you can expect to work with a team that will help you find the best path to returning to work. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the expanded services of the RETAIN program or standard care. It’s important to know that you won’t be eligible if you are involved in any legal cases related to your medical condition or if you already work for a company that has its own return-to-work program. This study is a great opportunity for eligible individuals looking for support during their recovery and transition back to the workplace.
