ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the safety and effectiveness of a treatment using special cells called mesenchymal stem cells, which are taken from umbilical cords. The goal is to see if these cells can help patients with pulmonary diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), when given through an intravenous infusion (a method of putting the treatment directly into the bloodstream).
To participate in the trial, individuals must have a diagnosed pulmonary disease and be able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to take part. However, certain people may not be eligible, such as those with active infections, cancer, or other serious health issues. If someone decides to join the study, they will be closely monitored to ensure their safety throughout the process. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders, providing a potential new avenue for treatment for those struggling with these lung conditions.
