ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a digital program called "Empowered Relief: On-Demand," which aims to help people manage chronic pain and reduce the urge to misuse prescription opioids. The trial will compare this program to a general health education resource called "Living Better." It is designed for adults aged 18 and older who have been dealing with chronic pain for at least six months, are using prescription opioids daily, and show signs of opioid misuse. Participants will complete online surveys to share their experiences with pain and opioid use throughout the study.
If you join the trial, you will have access to the Empowered Relief program, where you will learn skills to help manage your pain. The researchers will check in with you several times over a few months to see how you are doing with your pain levels, opioid cravings, and overall well-being. The trial is currently looking for participants, so if you meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in taking part, this could be a valuable opportunity to find new ways to manage your pain.
