ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different ways to help people quit smoking. One group of participants will receive standard counseling to help them stop smoking, while the other group will get an integrated approach that combines smoking cessation advice with financial coaching. The goal is to see if adding financial support can make it easier for people to quit smoking.
To be eligible for the study, you must be at least 18 years old, smoke at least five cigarettes a day, and be interested in both smoking and financial counseling. You should also live in New York City, speak either English or Spanish, and have a household income that is below 200% of the federal poverty level. Participants can expect to receive personalized coaching and support to help them quit smoking and improve their financial situation. It's important to note that people with certain medical conditions or those who know someone currently in the study cannot participate. If you're looking for support to quit smoking and fit the eligibility criteria, this trial might be a great opportunity for you!
