ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is testing a new mobile app called MAPS, designed to help prevent suicide by providing personalized support to individuals at risk. The main goal is to see how well this app works, how acceptable it is to users, and whether it can help reduce thoughts of suicide and self-harm. The study is currently looking for participants aged 18 to 26 who have experienced suicidal thoughts or behaviors in the past month and are comfortable using a smartphone.
If you or someone you know meets these criteria, you may be eligible to join the trial. Participants will use the app and provide feedback on their experience. It’s important to note that individuals with severe mental health symptoms, like being very paranoid or overly excited, may not be able to participate. This study aims to find effective ways to support young people who are struggling, and your involvement could help shape future mental health resources.
